Credit Manager

An excellent opportunity is available with a category 1 bank in the Abu Dhabi General Market (ADGM) for a Credit Manager to ensure understanding of credit approvals and dissect these from a Credit Administration point of view.

Reporting in to the Head of Credit Administration, you will:

• Ensure that all required documentation (Finance, Collateral & Source) have been obtained against each credit approval
• Ensure that all documents obtaining in line with Shariah principles are related to financing
• Ensure that all documents have been reviewed and found in order
• Ensure all documentation control methodologies implemented with post monitoring requirements related to facility release are being implemented
• Ensure that all parameters related to limit updating are adhered and or instructions are provided to relevant Operational Unit
• Ensure that all regulatory data requirements are keyed into core platforms of the Bank
• Ensure that monitoring reports related to credit administration are provided on time to the management
• Ensure that all procedures are aligning with the Bank’s policies and regulatory guidelines
• Ensure that RCSA related to Credit Administration activities are updated
  
  

The Credit Manager will possess a comprehensive credit administration background with experience of setting up credit administration functions from scratch and possess Islamic banking exposure and knowledge of Islamic banking products. You will have experience of managing the end-to-end Credit Administration function, including document preparation, vetting, limit control, disbursement, and monitoring/reporting. You will possess credit administration experience working with corporate clients on complex cases and bespoke cases. You will have experience of working within a similar role in a banking institution within UAE.
