About The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a skilled CSSD Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. The CSSD Technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper decontamination, sterilization, assembly, and storage of medical instruments and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
• Operate autoclaves and other sterilization tools.
• Monitor and record sterilization cycles for compliance.
• Inspect and assemble sterile trays and packs.
• Distribute sterile supplies to departments.
• Track inventory and usage of instruments and supplies.
• Keep work areas clean and infection-free.
• Follow safety protocols for handling contaminated materials.
• Coordinate with medical staff to support patient care.
• Stay updated on CSSD practices and technologies.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school education and diploma/certificate accepted by DOH for CSSD Technician license.
• 2+ years (Previous experience in a OPTHALOMOLOGY environment an advantage).
• To be competent in operating: Ultrasonic cleaner, Quattro care system for auto lubing, Washer/disinfectors, Autoclaves, Deionised water plant, Instrument tracking and tracing system.
