What You’ll Do

As our DAO Governance Analyst, your mission is clear: represent karpatkey in our DAOs and protocols at the governance layer. You'll be at the forefront of decision-making processes, advocating for best practices and innovative solutions within DeFi.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Governance Representation: Act as a liaison between Karpatkey and various DAOs, ensuring our voice is heard in governance discussions. Your insights will be instrumental in influencing decisions that impact our community.
• Writing & Analysis: Craft clear and compelling governance proposals, guidelines, and reports. Your analytical skills will help us assess the implications of governance decisions within the DeFi ecosystem.
• Community Engagement: Foster relationships within the community, generating discussions around treasury management, asset allocation, and other crucial topics. Help build trust and credibility in the governance process.
• Research & Trends: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring industry trends in financial services, DeFi, and governance models. Utilize this knowledge to inform our approach and strategy.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our internal teams (tech, business, strategy) to align our governance practices with overall business objectives.
  
  

Who You Are

We're looking for someone special! Here’s what you should bring to the table:

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in governance roles, with a strong understanding of DAOs and DeFi. You know the ins and outs of treasury and asset management.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional writing skills are a must! You should be able to articulate complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and opportunities in governance decisions.
• Passion for DeFi: A genuine interest in decentralized finance and a desire to contribute to the evolution of this space.
• Team Player: We thrive in a collaborative environment. You should be comfortable working remotely and engaging with a diverse team from around the globe.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience working with leading DAOs, protocols, or other web3 communities;
• A good understanding of DeFi and current events in DeFi;
• Ability to summarise complex proposals and provide readers with clear and brief abstracts;
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to promptly respond to changes in proposals and update our internal systems;
• Ability to convey complex concepts to various audiences with speed and influence;
• Ability to work with Dune, SQL or Python.
