Job Purpose
To be responsible for analyzing and interpreting large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. The Data Analyst will work closely with audit team members to design and implement data analysis and visualization tools to support internal audit objectives.
Functional Responsibilities
Audit Process Improvement: Collaborate with internal audit team members to identify data requirements, areas for process improvement and develop data-driven solutions to optimize audit processes.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze, interpret and correlate multiple large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and correlations using SAP Business Objects tools such as Crystal Reports and Web Intelligence.
Data Visualization: Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders, including audit committee members, management, and other stakeholders.
SAP System Administration: Configure and maintain SAP Business Objects systems, including data extraction, and report scheduling.
Data Extraction and Processing: Extract data from various systems and process it for analysis using SAP Business Objects tools, and queries.
Audit Data Analytics: Develop and implement data analytics models to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement in the organization's operations, financial stability, and compliance.
Data Governance: Identify and mitigate data quality issues and ensure data integrity.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal audit team members on SAP Business Objects tools and data analysis techniques.
Staying Up to Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis and visualization, applying this knowledge to improve audit processes and results.
Developing Custom Reports and Dashboards: Develop custom reports and dashboards to meet specific audit requirements and present findings to stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities

Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Knowledge of database management systems (DBMS), SQL, MYSQL and Oracle Databases.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, DAX.
