What You'll Be Doing

As a Data Privacy Legal Trainee within the Office of Data Protection, you will be an essential part of our Legal team, responsible for championing data privacy and compliance across Chalhoub Group’s diverse network. In the Middle East, data privacy is an emerging and niche field with high demand, creating a unique opportunity for those with specialized expertise in the legal and regulatory landscape. You will work closely with our Joint Ventures (JVs) and various business units, ensuring data privacy compliance across our rapidly expanding domains.

This role bridges legal, technical, and humanitarian principles, supporting Chalhoub Group’s dedication to its customers through transparent, ethical data practices.

• Data Privacy Compliance: Serve as the primary advisor on data privacy matters, ensuring Chalhoub Group meets regional and international privacy standards.
• Internal Oversight: Manage privacy initiatives for Chalhoub Group and its JVs, upholding internal policies, procedures, and best practices to mitigate privacy risks.
• Strategic Projects: Support two key Projects on privacy and launch new privacy initiatives within the Group.
