Data Quality Assurance Specialist (UAEN)

Our client is one of the government councils in Abu Dhabi that is looking into hiring a Quality Assurance Specialist (UAE National) to join their team.

The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of the organization's data systems. This role involves collaboration with various departments and stakeholders to set data quality standards, monitor compliance, and drive improvements. Additionally, the specialist oversees data quality-related KPIs and supports governance practices to align with organizational objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities -

Functional Responsibilities

• Work closely with departments and teams to identify data quality requirements and address challenges.
• Develop and implement data quality standards and KPIs aligned with organizational objectives.
• Lead data quality improvement efforts, including resolving issues and implementing mandatory fields.
• Participate in creating data management standards and governance frameworks to ensure compliance.
• Create and maintain dashboards to visualize and monitor data quality trends and metrics.
• Promote data quality awareness by providing training and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Track and report data quality KPIs regularly, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards and Owners to address inconsistencies and errors promptly.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements-

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Data Science or a relevant discipline.

Professional Experience

Experience in data analysis or related fields. Minimum of 6 years of experience for Bachelors degree holders.
