Delivery Engineer (Presight&AIQ)

Overview

The opportunity

Presight is looking for a Delivery Engineer to take challenges for support and maintenance of existing, key projects/system of new compute and network technologies across our global production infrastructure footprint. This position will work with internal and external Operation Team, and other cross functional teams to develop strategies for integrating new technologies and to better support existing technologies across the operational fleet.

The Delivery Engineer shall install, configure, and maintain server environments, AI platforms, and supporting systems. They will also help developer teams do the troubleshooting, respond to and troubleshoot service requests, incidents/problems, incident and service request escalations. Provides support to systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all of the server/storage/client devices, etc.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Govern organizational policies, procedures, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment), security, and business continuity standards.
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, AI platforms, and related systems, including updates, patches, and version upgrades.
• Oversee vendor platform integration, testing, and validation to ensure interoperability and alignment with Smart City architecture.
• Collaborate with AI and analytics vendors to ensure system readiness, data pipeline reliability, and API integration accuracy.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, data ingestion, and analytics workloads to ensure stability and efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, integrations, workflows, and incident reports.
• Identify and anticipate operational issues, propose and test alternative technical solutions, and improve overall system performance.
• Provide operational insights by analysing performance data, summarizing trends, and recommending improvements.
• Continuously update technical knowledge through learning, professional development, and engagement with industry best practices.
• Develop automation tools and scripts to streamline installation, configuration, monitoring, performance analysis, and operational reporting.
  
  

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Strong skills on Linux Server administration (Ubuntu, Centos), familiarity with the Linux scripting languages.
• Experience in x86 server hardware administration, managing containerized environments and cloud native applications including Kubernetes/Docker operations and administration.
• Hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Pods and applications on Kubernetes clusters
• Knowledge of streaming protocols, including RTSP and RTP.
• Experience in Public/Private Cloud infrastructure management & troubleshooting
• Familiarity with coding, program and design, such as Linux, shell and database development
• Familiarity with common operating systems and network monitoring programs
• Understanding of relevant programming languages, such as Python, Java, Go, or other languages
• Basic knowledge of network design, routing, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of Database architecture, SQL, Database Administration and optimization.
• Excellent communication skills, including speaking, writing and active listening
• Good collaboration and teamwork skills with internal management team
• Timely response and communication with management team for any immediate problems or errors
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, a talent for technical innovation understanding
• Experience with security equipment is preferred, including but not limited to cameras, speed radars, and ANPR cameras.
  
  

Experience Requirement

• 5+ years of experiences in engineering/computer operation and IT area
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
• AI, Cloud or Program language (Python, Java, etc) certificate is a plus
• Experience working in multinational companies is a plus.
