Job Purpose
The Demand Planning & Inventory Executive candidate would be responsible for predicting sales, planning for inventory flow, and creating useful solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Create efficient manual demand/supply planning tools for (Order forecasting, monitoring par stock levels, flagging re-ordering points and inventory management)
- Monitor and report sales forecasts/trends work alongside with Procurement team for timely replenishment.
- Create and clean up existing SKU lists for proper inventory management.
- Keep track of inbound and outbound shipments and flagging any delays or concerns.
- Ensure proper quality check and inspection of goods upon arrival.
- Use shipping software to monitor and store inventory information.
- Communicate with vendors and manufacturers and internal team on shipments.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies to report and reduce surplus and avoid gaps.
- Create logistics to monitor inventory and storage.
- Conduct regular examination of supplies to ensure quality.
- Conduct detailed reports on inventory.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in forecasting role & inventory management.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and able to communicate with persons at all levels locally and internationally.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Knowledgeable in inventory software
- Knowledgeable manual demand planning excel sheets
- Knowledgeable in warehouse safety
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
