This role carries out the following responsibilities: prepares patients for treatment, assists the dentist during dental or oral surgery procedures, and prepares necessary materials and equipment. May also handle related tasks, including answering phone calls, managing insurance approvals, ordering supplies, and scheduling future patient appointments as directed by the dentist.

Responsibilities

• Greets and escorts patients from the waiting area to the dental clinic.
• Assists the dentist with treatment administration at the chairside as required.
• Prepares dental materials for fillings and other procedures as directed by the dentist.
• Promotes good dental health by instructing patients on proper brushing and flossing techniques.
• Maintains a sterile and organized working environment following infection control procedures.
• Stocks the clinic, prepares trays and instruments based on the daily schedule, and supervises the maintenance of dental equipment.
• Reviews patient health histories, makes chart entries, and ensures completion of necessary forms.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a valid license to practice in the UAE.
• DOH (Department of Health), DHA (Dubai Health Authority) or MOH (Ministtry of Health)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a dental health care setting.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, with a focus on continuous professional development.
