Job Description

AECOM is looking for a motivated and talented Design Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Design Architect, you will work under the guidance of senior staff to assist in the design and development of various projects. You will contribute to the creation of architectural solutions that are not only innovative but also functional and sustainable. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and driven individual to gain experience in a supportive and collaborative environment, while contributing to exciting projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of concept and schematic design phases for various projects, bringing fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the table.
• Utilize Rhino and Grasshopper to create and refine design models, exploring complex geometries and parametric design options.
• Collaborate closely with senior architects and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and integrated design outcomes.
• Prepare engaging graphic presentations and visualizations to communicate design concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to enhance project outcomes.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in architectural design.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in architecture, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong concept and schematic design skills.
• Proficiency in Rhino and Grasshopper; familiarity with additional design software Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Package.
• Strong graphic skills, with the ability to create visually compelling presentations.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovative design.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
