- Design Software Proficiency:
- AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
- Carrier HAP, Elite, Duct Sizer, and Pipe Flow Expert for HVAC/hydraulic calculations.
- Caesar II (for stress analysis), and ETAP familiarity (for inter-disciplinary coordination).
- Technical Knowledge:
- HVAC load calculation and equipment selection.
- Hydraulic design of water/fire systems (pumps, piping networks, flow rates, head losses).
- Knowledge of duct design, air balancing, and energy efficiency requirements.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, API, and ISO standards.
- Documentation & Coordination:
- Preparation and review of datasheets, specifications, BOQs, and design reports.
- Coordination with vendors, procurement, and construction for technical clarifications.
- Experience in value engineering and design optimization to reduce project cost/time.
- Software and Management Tools:
- MS Office Suite, Primavera P6 (basic understanding of schedule dependencies),
- Document control platforms (Aconex, SharePoint, Procore).
