We are seeking a skilled and empathetic developmental-behavioral pediatrician to join our team in Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a skilled and empathetic developmental-behavioral pediatrician to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric care, with a particular interest and expertise in identifying and treating developmental and behavioral issues in children. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of children with developmental and behavioral concerns, including developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and other related conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and provide ongoing management and follow-up care for patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (e.g., therapists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists) to provide comprehensive care and support for patients.
- Educate and counsel families on the management and treatment of developmental and behavioral concerns, including providing guidance on developmental milestones, behavior management strategies, and resources for support.
- Stay current on the latest research, treatments, and technology related to developmental and behavioral pediatrics.
- Attend meetings, conferences, and other professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Residency training in pediatrics, with a fellowship in developmental-behavioral pediatrics preferred.
- Valid license to practice medicine in Saudi Arabia.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in developmental and behavioral pediatrics.
- Strong understanding of child development, behavioral psychology, and psychiatric disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively work with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to work with a diverse patient population with varying cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Passion for helping children and families and making a positive impact in their lives.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
