DevOps Architect, Trilogy (Remote) - $100,000/year USD

Trilogy

Date: 2 weeks ago
City: Dubai
Contract type: Full time
Remote
You're a DevOps visionary who sees chaos and envisions streamlined perfection. If transforming tangled legacy systems into efficient, automated masterpieces excites you, this is your stage.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Leading infrastructure transformations from legacy systems to AWS cloud, ensuring seamless migrations and lift-and-shift operations.
  • Architecting and deploying robust monitoring and automation frameworks for operational excellence.
  • Engaging in proactive system monitoring, incident management, database migration, and cost optimization strategies.

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Endlessly documenting issues in Jira or getting bogged down in status meetings - we value results-driven action.
  • Maintaining obsolete systems without the opportunity to innovate - your role is to drive forward-thinking improvements.
  • Being hindered by red tape - you'll have the autonomy to implement immediate solutions.
  • Confined to narrow technical scopes - this role demands a wide-ranging skill set.
  • Struggling to secure funding for critical enhancements - we prioritize infrastructure investment.

DevOps Architect Key Responsibilities

Standardize and enhance the reliability of cloud infrastructure across our product suite by implementing advanced monitoring, automation, and AWS best practices.

Basic Requirements

  • Expert-level AWS infrastructure knowledge, as AWS is our core platform.
  • Proficient programming skills in Python or JavaScript for automation and tool development.
  • Proven experience with production database management and migration across various engines (MySql, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL).
  • Advanced capabilities in Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Extensive Linux systems administration skills.
