About the Role

We are urgently hiring experienced Dewatering Pump Operator to join our project team in Mohammed Bin Zayed City. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, operating, and maintaining various dewatering systems to ensure safe and efficient water control at the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain dewatering systems such as wellpoints, deep wells, sump pumps, and related equipment.
• Assemble and set up hoses, pumps, piping, fittings, and filters based on site-specific requirements.
• Monitor groundwater levels and pump performance to ensure smooth operation.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on dewatering pumps and systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Record flow rates, pressure levels, and report irregularities in system performance.
• Ensure proper management of discharge water in compliance with environmental standards.
• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors regarding adjustments to dewatering operations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe, clean, and organized manner.
• Follow all safety guidelines and ensure proper use of PPE at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Dewatering Technician in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of dewatering methods (wellpoints, deep wells, sump pumps).
• Hands-on experience with pump installation, troubleshooting, and minor mechanical repairs.
• Ability to read site instructions and work with engineers/supervisors.
• Physically fit to work in outdoor and site-based environments.
• Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations for water discharge.
• Basic communication skills in English (Arabic/other languages an advantage).
