We are seeking a talented Digital Application Engineer - Utilities (Customer Facing) to join our Electrical division in Dubai.

As a Digital Application Engineer - Utilities (Customer Facing), you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of our innovative digital solutions within the utilities sector. You will focus on leveraging Eaton offers (grid planning, ADPS, Substation automation) to support the regional Utility strategy.

What You’ll Do

• Develop a deep understanding of our digital solutions and their applications within the Utility Domain.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the sales process.
• Onboarding and supporting new partners
• Collaborate with Offer Management teams to identify customer needs and provide feedback for product enhancements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to energy efficiency and sustainability.
• Identify, qualify, and develop growth opportunities within the utilities market (both distribution & transmission), targeting key decision-makers.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of our digital solutions, emphasizing their benefits in utility infrastructure modernization, asset lifetime extension, sustainability, and operational performance optimization.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve growth targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ Degree or Masters' Degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering
• 7-12 years of experience in a similar position
  
  
  

Skills

• Experience in Solution Consulting, Technical Sales or Product Management with different business models including Subscriptions, Outcomes-based and gain-share models
• Proven experience in sales, preferably within the commercial building or technology industry
• Experience with Grid planning solutions, primary & secondary substation automation solutions
• Knowledge of market and local regulations impacting utilities customers.
• Proactive mind-set with desire for clear accountability and ownership
• Eager to evolve in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for technology, innovation and continuous learning & self development
• Ability to work in a highly international environment / in virtual teams / in a matrix organization
• Fluent in written and spoken English. Other languages would be an advantage
• Excellent communications skills and ability to convince and close deals
