Who we’re looking for: As a Digital Art Director at VML, you will be a key creative leader, responsible for developing and executing visually engaging digital content across various platforms. You will be a master of visual communication, digital design principles, and motion graphics, with a particular emphasis on video editing and post-production expertise. You will work closely with a team of creatives to deliver exceptional digital experiences for our clients. What you’ll be doing: Digital Visual Strategy: Develop and implement visuals for digital campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines. Translate marketing concepts into compelling visual experiences across digital channels. Stay up-to-date with the latest digital design trends, technologies, and best practices. Art Direction and Design: Art direct and design a wide range of digital assets, including website content and adaptations, social media content (static and motion), digital advertising (display, video, etc.), and motion graphics and video content. Ensure all visual elements are consistent with brand guidelines and effectively communicate the desired message. Video Editing and Motion Graphics: Lead on video editing and post-production process, including video editing (Premiere Pro), color correction and grading (DaVinci Resolve), motion graphics and animation (After Effects), and compositing and visual effects. Develop and execute creative video concepts, from storyboarding to final delivery. Ensure video content is optimized for various digital platforms and formats. Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate closely with copywriters, designers, and other creative team members to develop integrated digital campaigns. Present creative concepts and designs to internal teams and clients. Work with cross-functional teams, including social media. Client Management: Present creative concepts and designs to clients, incorporating feedback and ensuring client satisfaction. What you’ll need: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Film, or a related field. 5+ years of experience as a Digital Art Director or similar role within an agency or digital media company, priority for automotive content. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on: Adobe Premiere Pro (expert-level) DaVinci Resolve (expert-level) Adobe After Effects (expert-level) Adobe Photoshop (expert-level) Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of digital design and video/motion graphics work. Excellent understanding of digital design principles, typography, and visual communication. Strong conceptual skills. Ability to manage creative projects efficiently. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Knowledge of video codecs, formats, and optimization for digital platforms. Experience in the Dubai/GCC market is a plus.
