Job Overview

The Digital Marketing Strategist is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This role requires a balance of creativity, analytical thinking, and technical expertise to ensure that all marketing initiatives align with business goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of digital channels, audience behavior, and performance analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop data-driven digital marketing strategies aligned with the company’s objectives and target audience.
  • Plan and oversee integrated campaigns across channels such as SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
  • Identify growth opportunities, set KPIs, and define success metrics for campaigns.
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all digital platforms.

Campaign Development & Optimization

  • Work with marketing specialists to create compelling campaigns that drive engagement and conversions.
  • Oversee campaign budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Monitor performance and adjust strategies in real time to improve ROI and overall effectiveness.
  • Conduct A/B testing to refine messaging, creative, and targeting.

Analytics & Insights

  • Use data tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, and social media analytics platforms to track and interpret campaign results.
  • Analyze customer behavior, website performance, and conversion paths to improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Prepare performance reports and present insights to senior leadership with actionable recommendations.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including content, design, sales, and product to ensure cohesive strategy execution.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior marketers and campaign managers.
  • Coordinate with external agencies or vendors to manage specialized projects such as paid advertising or creative production.

Market & Competitor Research

  • Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking to identify digital trends and best practices.
  • Monitor industry developments, emerging technologies, and platform algorithm updates.
  • Recommend new tools, channels, and approaches to maintain a competitive advantage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 2 years in a strategic or managerial role.
  • Proven success in developing and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, email marketing, and paid media strategies.
  • Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Exceptional analytical, project management, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM integration.
  • Knowledge of customer journey mapping and lifecycle marketing.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Google Data Studio, Power BI).
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for emerging digital trends.

  • Growth in qualified leads and conversions from digital channels.
  • Increase in ROI and reduction in cost-per-acquisition (CPA).
