Role:

A position is available for a Business Development Representative to grow the customer base within the Corporate customer segment. This role will be focused on identifying and developing new market opportunities across the Middle East region delivering the Moody’s enterprise value proposition.

In collaboration with internal partners such as Domain Sales Specialists, Solutions Specialists and Industry Practice Leads, the Business Development Rep leads sales cycles for holistic solutions and complimentary services. The Moody's sales force has an inclusive, team-oriented sales culture that values both collaboration and results.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and initiate new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients and leveraging off existing client relationships.
  • Illustrate a deep understanding of client decision-making approach, priorities, and requirements.
  • Leverage deep insights into the Corporate segments in the region, to uncover opportunity and risk for customers while addressing them.
  • Develop and drive strategic engagement and commercial relationships in key customers, involving Moody’s senior executives where needed.
  • Manage sales cycles, lead meetings, presentations, workshops and other client engagements by involving Domain Sales specialists, Solution Specialists, and Industry Practice Leads where appropriate.
  • Provide current forecasts and pipeline information to management.
  • Meet established sales targets, while creating new and enhanced customer relationships to ensure satisfaction.
  • Generate new revenue by conducting market research, lead generation, product and service solutions and defending & growing existing revenue streams.
  • Represent company at industry and company sponsored events, as required.
  • This position requires travel.

Qualifications:

  • 10 years+ of experience selling complex solutions to Corporate or Governments.
  • Experience in Risk Intelligence or Risk Technology solutions (e.g. AML, Compliance, Data management Solutions, etc..).
  • Experience of confidently delivering complex and large ticket sales whilst handling the sales processes from end to end.
  • Ability to influence key decision makers during the full life cycle of the sales process.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills as well as outstanding client relationship management experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience in the Middle East region
  • Strong work ethics, independent, systematic, persuasive, friendly and can interact with prospects and customers at all levels.
  • Arabic language is preferred
