About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director of Engineering to join in Jumeirah Emirates Tower.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Develop and communicate strategic vision, goals, and objectives in alignment with the overall business strategy.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, effectively to support project priorities and meet organizational goals.
• Provide technical direction and guidance, ensuring the use of best practices, methodologies, and technologies to drive innovation and achieve technical excellence.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as product management, marketing, and sales, to align engineering efforts with business needs, customer requirements, and market opportunities.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC Engineering (or a related field).
• Certified in Project Management.
• Strong project management skills, with experience overseeing complex operational tasks.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and other relevant software tools
