Infrastructure & Operations Director | MAF Global Solutions | GS

Role Summary

The Director of Infrastructure & Operations is a crucial member of the MAF Technology leadership team. This position requires an experienced IT leader who can manage the technology infrastructure & operations across the group effectively. The main responsibilities involve strategic planning, overseeing end-to-end tech service operations, managing cloud migration & data centre consolidation, business continuity.

ROLE PROFILE

• Responsible for developing and executing the IT infrastructure strategy for the organization, keeping in mind the company’s short and long-term objectives.
• Accountable for the efficient functioning of the IT Services. Overseeing network management, user and access management, database administration, system operations, and are responsible for enforcing quality assurance processes & protocols.
• Establish an IT Operations and Service Delivery Management practice to operate, optimize, monitor, support and deliver effective services at the required quality, cost and service level for MAF.
• Overall accountability and responsibility for MAF’s infrastructure technology landscape and operations to ensure that they support the business goals.
• The Director must ensure high levels of end-user satisfaction through developing and maintaining teams, processes, systems to handle service requests, incident management, problem management, and escalated issues, effectively and promptly.
• Experience in retail organizations will be advantageous, along with Professional training and/or certification in Azure cloud, ITIL, CCNP,CISSP, AWS or GCP
• Ability to conduct strategic planning and lead/influence large and complex programs frameworks, processes, methodology tailoring and risk management
• Develop disaster recovery strategies, which specifically focus on restoring the IT systems and infrastructure following a disruption or disaster.
  
  

Requirements

• 15 or more years of experience in IT Service Operations, Infrastructure or relevant technology leadership
• Proven experience in similar roles with a focus on strategic planning, tech service operations, cloud migrations, and data center management
• Broad knowledge of IT systems, including databases, network systems, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity measures
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
• Deep knowledge of business ecosystems, Datacenters, Network, Cloud, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics
• Must hold certification: CGEIT, CISSP, MP, ITIL, CISA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect , Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert & CCNP
