About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Director - Marketing and Communications to join Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Develop annual marketing strategy, aligning with sales and marketing teams, communications, brand and digital.
- Oversee the marketing budgets, ensuring marketing activities and the use of external marketing agencies are aligned.
- Grow, inspire, and develop the marketing team, setting standards for best practice and running a high performing marketing team.
- Partner with sales and marketing to oversee direct channel marketing programs- ensuring these initiatives are measurably impacting revenue.
- Interact with the Regional Vice President of MEASA Sales & Marketing as well as the General Managers for regional & Dubai wide campaigns.
- Align with brand marketing team to ensure support of brand performance, VSG, and brand marketing strategies.
- From a brand perspective, ensure alignment with Jumeirah Brand Strategy; this includes bringing the Jumeirah brand to life among regional colleagues and customers alike.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Studies, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
- 10–12 years of marketing experience within the hospitality industry, preferably with luxury brands.
- Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, digital marketing (SEO, PPC, GDS), and CRM/property management systems.
- Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and creativity, with strong analytical and budget management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and results orientation.
