Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Direct overall marketing activities in AD Ports Group and its businesses.
  • Lead company marketing campaigns and promotional efforts to build a high level of brand awareness and market positioning.
  • Produce best-in-class integrated marketing services and provide guidance to deploy key strategies and programmes focusing on generating ROI for AD Ports Group and businesses.
  • Liaise with local/international media and marketing companies and engage in contract negotiation and agreement.
  • Ensure consistency, conformity and alignment with AD Ports Group brand messages and value propositions communicated across all marketing communications.
  • Develop processes and procedures for the marketing function, ensuring full alignment with the requirements of the corporate marketing and per functional service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Monitor and assess, through continuous market and competitor research, the key trends that may impact the organization and recommend new, innovative and strategic marketing approaches.
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with internal and external key enablers including partners, portfolio companies and senior leadership to achieve a high level of stakeholder satisfaction and meet company objectives.
  • Prepare marketing reports reflecting department current activities, performance, bottlenecks and recommendation plans.

People Management Responsibilities:

  • Direct, build and steer the marketing team towards achieving set objectives, ensuring personal growth and learning development needs are met
  • Monitor direct reports and holds team members responsible for ensuring marketing deliverables are best-in-class, aligned to the agreed objectives, budgets and timeframes
  • Define and assess annual and quarterly KPIs for the marketing team
  • Counsel and guide the marketing team, carry out annual performance appraisals and addresses capability and disciplinary issues when required
  • Define key roles, develop critical talent, and deliver elevated levels of performance that cultivates a dynamic, results-oriented marketing team as AD Ports Group grows.

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Engage with the VP MARCOM to define the strategic roadmap aiming to market AD Ports Group.
  • Define and monitor the annual and long-term marketing strategy for AD Ports Group and its businesses.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, understand requirements and translate business objectives into measurable marketing goals and plans.
  • Assess the accomplishments of conducted campaigns and promotional efforts against KPIs and business ROIs, optimize/recommend changes as required
  • Participate to define and allocate the annual marketing budget with overall accountability for the allocation and disbursement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field.
  • Master's degree is a plus.
