Job Summary:
Director of Growth, Saudi Arabia
We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and results-driven leader to drive Agoda’s growth and presence in Saudi Arabia. This is a unique opportunity to build Agoda’s business in one of the world’s most exciting travel markets. As the Director of Growth, you will be empowered to represent Agoda on the ground, build strategic relationships, initiate, size, test, and scale new ideas, and collaborate across Agoda’s global teams—including product, partnerships, marketing, and more—to shape our direction and priorities in Saudi Arabia. This is an individual contributor role with significant autonomy, designed for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

This is an individual contributor role with significant autonomy, designed for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Leadership & Growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to drive Agoda’s growth and market share in Saudi Arabia.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and initiatives to accelerate Agoda’s presence and performance.
- Act as Agoda’s ambassador in Saudi Arabia, building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the tourism industry
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Agoda’s product, partnerships, marketing, and other business teams to build business cases, influence direction and priorities, and ensure alignment with local market needs.
- Surface local opportunities and challenges, advocating for Saudi-specific solutions and resources.
- Prepare and present business cases to drive investment and support for Saudi initiatives.
- Brand Building & Representation
- Champion Agoda’s brand in Saudi Arabia, increasing awareness and trust among partners, customers, and the broader ecosystem.
- Represent Agoda at industry events, conferences, and meetings, effectively communicating our vision and value proposition.
- Strategic Execution & Milestones
- Set and achieve clear milestones for Agoda’s growth in Saudi Arabia, tracking progress and adapting strategies as needed.
- Provide regular updates and insights to Agoda’s senior leadership on market trends, performance, and opportunities.
- Location: Must be based in Saudi Arabia (no remote work; strong local network required).
- Background:
- Experience as a founder, ex-consultant, or similar entrepreneurial role, ideally with a track record of building businesses or convincing investors.
- Deep understanding of the Saudi market, with established relationships and credibility.
- Skills:
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Strategic thinker with an analytical mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable representing Agoda at the highest levels.
- Self-starter, highly autonomous, and comfortable working without a direct team.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Language: Fluency in Arabic is mandatory
