JOB DESCRIPTION
- Support Legal Assurance Lead in developing, implementing and maintaining Etisalat UAE’s legal assurance governance policies and framework in accordance with Group Legal guidelines / framework
- Provide needed support to set up and establish Etisalat UAE’s legal assurance matrix ensuring its completeness and accuracy
- Conduct legal assurance reviews, assurances and reporting
- Analyze the applicability of assurance related laws and regulations (UAE and International) on Etisalat UAE operations and ensure it is reflected in all the contractual obligations and liabilities that Etisalat UAE contractually agrees to
- Help monitor and stay up-to-date with legal assurance in UAE and major jurisdictions and support in providing advice to leadership on the implications of each
- Coordinate with relevant functions such as Group Legal/ Corporate Compliance, Risk, Audit, Regulatory, Contracts to manage legal assurance risks adequately
- Support in handling data protection and privacy, export controls and sanctions, anti money laundering, ABAC and regulatory related matters, as per the scope of responsibilities and the areas identified by Audit and Legal
- Bachelor’s degree in law
- 4+ years of legal assurance experience, in a large and progressive business organization or leading local law firm
