Job Description
Responsible for leading vendor management activities for e& including evaluating vendor performance, continuously assessing vendor relationships for synergies, assessing vendor risk in order to ensure e& only conducts business with compliant and ethical vendors so as to protect e&’s interests and maintain low risk engagements. Also, required to manage post contract award activities and attend any potential Disputes until reaching settlement and solution.

Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Certification
8 years of experience in Procurement of which 5 years in vendor management in major telecom/ tech organizations / international org., with at least 3 years in a senior managerial position

Key Responsibilities :
- Formulate the Vendor Management function’s strategy, goals, plans and framework in accordance with on the overall Procurement Operations strategy and lead its implementation and implement strategies to continuously enhance efficiencies associated with vendor management and ensure fulfilment of all internal requirements
- Develop and optimize Procurement and Contract’s internal policies, standards and templates for working with vendors including workflow processes, methods, guidelines and policies relating to activities within Procure to Pay (P2P) cycle and manage trainings/workshops to be provided to vendors as and when required to ensure that the vendors have knowledge of e&’s operational workflows within P2P cycle
- Review current vendors and classify/rationalize/optimize vendor portfolio, identify most strategic vendors on periodical basis and lead regular collaborative meetings mainly with strategic vendors with an objective to build stronger business relationship and thereby result in benefit to e&.
- Drive contractual, commercial and operational working relationships with vendors to ensure vendors’ compliance with contractual commitments and address any roadblocks, requirements, performance issues etc.
- Conduct vendor risk management activities, including vendor risk assessment while onboarding new vendors and periodical risk assessment of existing vendors by using the knowledge, skills and third party tools available for the same. If risks are identified, ensure business owners are mitigating, monitoring and managing vendor risks that may include but not limited to financial viability, information security, business continuity and corporate and regulatory compliance.
- Lead periodical vendor performance evaluation to assess the performance of strategic vendors in areas that include quality of their products and services, their responsiveness capacity, systems and responsiveness, partner with business owners to develop vendor scorecards and dashboards that present relevant data tailored to the audience.
- Manage periodical supplier satisfaction evaluation to assess strategic suppliers’ views on various activities identified within P2P process with an objective to address these issues and possible areas of improvement.
- Lead the collection/consolidation/communication of detailed reports on key vendor data/performance to management and key stakeholders.
- Drive the ongoing development of the Vendor Management function’s employees and guide their continuous developmental activities.
- Manage identified post contractual activities carried out by Vendor Management Team and attend any potential Disputes until reaching settlement and solution.
- Any other activity may raise.
