The Distributor Channel Manager is responsible for managing and developing the company’s distributor network to achieve sales growth, market penetration, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong commercial acumen, relationship management, and the ability to align distributor performance with the company’s strategic goals

The Distributor Channel Manager is responsible for managing and developing the company’s distributor network to achieve sales growth, market penetration, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong commercial acumen, relationship management, and the ability to align distributor performance with the company’s strategic goals
Key Responsibilities
- Distributor Relationship Management
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with distributor partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all distributor-related matters.
- Align distributor objectives and strategies with company priorities.
- Sales & Business Development
- Set, monitor, and review distributor sales targets and KPIs.
- Support distributors in developing account and territory business plans.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities through the channel.
- Channel Strategy & Expansion
- Develop and execute the distributor channel strategy in line with company goals.
- Identify gaps in coverage and recommend new partnerships or channels.
- Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and distributor onboarding.
- Training & Capability Building
- Deliver regular product, commercial, and compliance training to distributor teams.
- Support the development of distributor capabilities in sales, marketing, and service.
- Ensure distributor teams maintain high standards of product knowledge and customer engagement.
- Marketing & Demand Generation
- Collaborate with distributors to plan and execute local marketing campaigns, trade shows, and product launches.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and compliance with corporate guidelines.
- Drive demand generation initiatives to support sales targets.
- Operational Excellence
- Coordinate demand forecasts with distributors to ensure product availability.
- Monitor distributor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize delivery performance.
- Governance & Compliance
- Ensure distributors adhere to contractual agreements, pricing policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct performance reviews and audits to ensure compliance.
- Uphold ethical business practices in line with company standards.
- Reporting & Market Insights
- Provide regular performance reports, sales analysis, and market intelligence.
- Monitor competitor activity and share insights with the leadership team.
- Recommend strategic adjustments to improve distributor effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience in channel/distributor management, sales, or business development.
- Strong knowledge of channel dynamics and emerging markets (experience in healthcare/IVF/medical devices] is a plus).
- Proven track record of delivering sales growth through distributor networks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
- English speaking, Arabic a plus
