Document Control Specialist

We are currently looking for a Document Controller Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing project files in a secure and efficient manner, ensuring seamless document flow and compliance with company and client requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and control the flow of project documents (drawings, contracts, reports, correspondence, approvals).
• Manage document logs, submittals, and registers (soft and hard copies).
• Ensure all documentation is updated, version-controlled, and properly archived.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and clients to ensure timely document submissions and approvals.
• Prepare transmittals, submittal logs, and document trackers.
• Assist in preparing documentation for inspections, audits, and project handover.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of company and project information.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Document Controller in a contracting or construction company in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of construction documents: shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, etc.
• Proficiency in MS Office and document control systems
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and document protocols is an advantage.
