The Role
A document controller is responsible for managing and organizing all project-related documents for a leading construction consultancy. This includes maintaining accurate records, ensuring timely distribution of documents, and implementing document control procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain all project documents, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and other technical documents. • Create and maintain a document control system to ensure that all project documents are accurately recorded, distributed, and archived. • Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of all project documents before distribution. • Coordinate with project teams to ensure that all documents are submitted on time and in the correct format. • Ensure that all project documents are properly labeled, filed, and stored in accordance with company standards. • Monitor and track document revisions and maintain a log of all changes and updates. • Provide support to project teams by retrieving and distributing requested documents in a timely manner. • Ensure that all project documents are in compliance with company policies and procedures. • Train and assist project team members in document control procedures and systems. • Collaborate with other departments to improve document control processes and procedures.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in document control, preferably in the construction industry. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Proficient in using document management systems and software. • Knowledge of construction project management processes and procedures. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficient in English, both written and spoken. • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively. • Competent user of Acconex or other document control system.
