Document Controller – Residential Construction (Contracting Experience Required)

We're on the hunt for a Document Controller who’s been in the trenches of a villa construction project under a contracting company—not just consulting, not just on paper. You should know the workflow, the site hustle, and the approvals game like the back of your hand.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, track, and organize all project-related documents (drawings, submittals, RFIs, contracts, etc.)
• Ensure correct versions and approvals are maintained and distributed to the right teams
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and project managers to streamline document flow
• Follow up on submission logs, consultant comments, and drawing approvals
• Maintain document control systems (digital and physical) as per company and project standards

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience as a Document Controller in a contracting company – villa construction background is a must
• Solid understanding of construction document cycles and approvals in the UAE
• Strong command of document control tools (Excel, Aconex, or equivalent systems)
• Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure
• Based in or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi
