About The Role

We are looking for dedicated and experienced document controller to join the Facilities Department in Atlantis The Royal. The role is positioned on junior management grade and will report directly to the Vice President of Facilities, supporting a large and diverse team of 130+ colleagues.

Key Duties And Resposibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings of architectural and engineering designs from sketches and specifications.
• Collaborate with Facilities Project Managers to incorporate design requirements into drawings.
• Review and revise drawings to meet project specifications and standards.
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify drawings.
• Ensure that drawings are accurate, detailed, and contain all necessary information.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building codes, industry standards, and materials.
• Manage documentation and filing systems for drawings and project records.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Act as "Custodian of Record" for all facilities relayed site drawings and technical documentation.
  
  

About You

We are looking for candidates with solid on the job experience with document control and minimum 5 years CAD experience. Holding a degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering is preffered. You should be able to clearly and effectively communicate with different levels of the organisation and demonstrate fluency in spoken, written and technical English. Ability to oversee multiple projects and operate efficiently in a complex hospitality environment is necessary to suceed in the role. Additional skills and competencies include:

• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks
• Experience with building information modeling (BIM) software
• Good understanding of architectural and engineering principles
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
