Job Purpose
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving company vehicles to transport customers and employees, as well as supporting the submission of banking documents. This role demands a high level of responsibility, punctuality, and customer service orientation.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Transport Duties: Safely and efficiently pick up and drop off customers and employees to various destinations as required. Deliver samples to customers within UAE.
- Banking Support: Handle the submission of banking documents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions and handle the cheque collection for finance.
- Documents Submission – Submission of documents related to import/export.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain company vehicles to ensure they are in good working and clean condition. Report any issues or necessary repairs promptly.
- Customer Service: Always provide a courteous and professional demeanor, addressing any concerns or queries from passengers.
- Scheduling: Adhere to a set schedule and route while being flexible to accommodate any changes or additional requests.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, and any incidents.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to other departments within the company as and when required. AM: support to manufacturing and PM: support to Sales.
Skills and Knowledge
- Valid UAE driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a driver; experience in a corporate setting is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and customer service orientation.
- Ability to handle banking documents with confidentiality and accuracy.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends if necessary.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle maintenance.
- Must display and demonstrate attitudes in line with the Company Values
- Able to work independently and as a team player
