Duty Manager

Synopsis

The role is responsible for managing the entire GSE workshop & floor activities ensuring all GSE maintenance activities are complying to global regulations & best practices stipulated by client airlines.

Accountabilities

• Responsible for managing all GSE workshop activities by developing efficient workshop processes that increase equipment life cycle including preventive maintenance system
• Compile progressive data to show the performance of all equipment and recommend to management which ones are not economically viable to keep
• Responsible for cost optimization through scheduled maintenance, analyses of replacement parts and ensuring increase of equipment life cycle and decrease of curative maintenance for sensitive equipment.
• Monitor and inspect equipment and report out of service equipment to ensure repairs to prevent failures.
• Ensure serviceability of ground equipment at optimal target levels to support operational activities at any given point of time.
• Develop and update preventive maintenance protocol, conduct periodic reviews for all equipment’s maintained and ensure adequate supply of all spare parts, lubricants and tools for all equipment.
  
  

Education & Experience

• Must hold engineering degree; Mechanical or Electrical engineer preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as GSE Workshop Manager
• Knowledge of SAP & Oracle is desirable
• Must have team management experience of atleast 5 years
