E-commerce Executive – Logistics (Night Operations)

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented E-commerce Executive – Logistics (Night Operations) to manage and coordinate key logistical functions during night hours. The role focuses on ensuring smooth operations across the entire logistics chain, including first mile, mid mile, last mile, dispatch, sorting, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting timely deliveries, minimizing operational errors, and improving route and shipment efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

First Mile Operations:

• Ensure timely receiving of shipments from sellers and collection points.
• Coordinate outbound shipments to other cities, verifying completeness and schedule adherence.
• Maintain accurate records of first mile pickups and escalations.
  
  

Mid Mile Coordination

• Monitor inter-city movements and hub-to-hub transfers.
• Ensure efficient routing and timely arrival of transit vehicles.
• Address and resolve any transit or routing issues proactively.
  
  

Last Mile Management

• Oversee daily dispatch of last mile deliveries.
• Verify and follow up on undelivered shipments, ensuring timely re-attempts or return-to-origin (RTO) processes.
• Track delivery success rates and coordinate with riders for optimized delivery routes.
  
  

Dispatch Sorting

• Supervise dispatch operations to ensure timely loading and departure of delivery vehicles.
• Ensure proper city-wise and route-wise sorting of parcels to minimize errors and delivery delays.
• Manage scanning, binning, and handover processes effectively.
  
  

Inventory Warehouse Support

• Monitor stock flow in and out of the warehouse during night operations.
• Conduct periodic inventory checks and support reconciliation activities.
• Ensure adherence to safety, cleanliness, and FIFO inventory practices.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in e-commerce logistics or warehouse operations, preferably in night shifts.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes, especially first mile, mid mile, and last mile operations.
• Familiarity with WMS/TMS systems and real-time tracking tools.
