Responsible for contribution towards income stream through the provision of investment solutions primarily across Global Private Banking segment.
Organize and manage a team of investment professionals managing end-to-end investment solutions governance – this includes sourcing & selection, development, management of products as well as formulation of business and product strategy.
Lead the development of the Investment Products Calendar and its execution in liaison with distribution channels and the provision of relevant training and development.
Spearheading the sourcing, selection and development of investment products and solutions and launching capital guaranteed and non-principal protected structured products, non-recourse leveraged fixed income solutions, FCNRs, and mutual funds.
Lead the conceptualization, development and launch of the FAB’s in-house Funds suite.
Responsibility for upkeep and enhancement of FAB’s UCITS platform, and regionally domiciled investment vehicles – board of directors’ governance including board meetings, investment manager reports, KIIDs updates, and the selection and management of service providers, amongst other multijurisdictional governance (e.g. Swiss FINMA, etc.).
Lead coverage engagement through products talks/updates, and relevant preparatory calls.
Lead regulatory engagement including feedback on draft regulations relevant to securities promotion & introducing activities, locally domiciled and UCITS investment management, etc.
Lead the governance of FAB’s Focus List (acceptable universe of financial products and securities) including the formulation of the Focus List process, services providers, products risk rating methodology, policies and procedures, and product programmes.
In line with regulatory and compliance requirements, spearheading investment propositions and coverage engagement for Switzerland, Singapore, Egypt and London, UK across asset classes and investment services.
Responsible for third parties vendor engagement, selection, and management.
Responsible for management of the FAB’s Investment Committee (IC), Investment Products Steering Committee (IPSC) and oversight of the Asset Allocation Committee.
Lead Wealth Solutions business model including on-boarding and engagement (due diligence, proposals) of globally recognized third party companies including trust services providers, administrators, and real estate services providers (investment views, referrals), amongst offer of other valued private banking client services.
Leading new debt issuances and initial public offerings for the Global Private Banking client segment. This includes managing the transaction process, coverage briefings, loan to value consideration, and subscription process.
Opportunistically, speak at investment industry’s thought leadership roundtables and forums/conferences on topics including regulations, due diligence, products selection, development, multijurisdictional passporting, client centricity, amongst others.
In liaison with the MD & Global Head of Products & Service, lead the development and implementation of various country and business strategy papers including MENA focused strategies, broader Islamic World, Asia, Europe, etc.
Develop and implement rationalization plans to either merge, restructure, or close investment funds across multiple jurisdictions in liaison with regulators and clients.
Lead the development of web-content for FAB’s website relating to investments for Global Private Banking Segment, which includes FAB’s investment advisory, discretionary solutions, funds, trade execution, wealth solutions, and other investments related services.
Lead, as relevant, special situations and restructurings for clients that include engagement with external stakeholders and other senior executives of the Group (CEO, CFO, CRO, Senior MDs, others).
Develop Credit Advisory framework with relevant human resourcing and collaborate on all relevant matters relating primarily credit impacting private banking business.
- Minimum of 18 years' experience in finance, management, investment banking and/ or investment management.
- Knowledge of and experience in finance, investments and\or investment products sourcing, selection, development, project management and marketing.
- Broad knowledge of asset classes and products such as mutual funds, close ended funds, LP-GP structures, and structured products, amongst others.
- A bachelor 's degree in Finance/Accounting/ Banking/ Marketing and/or Liberal Arts
