Electrical & ELV Engineer

Sharjah, UAE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the UAE. The Engineer role involves conducting and supporting the delivery of complete electrical projects such as power distribution, ELV systems, and telecommunication systems across various discipline projects in the Aviation Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and a proven track record in the aviation sector.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carry out complete power distribution, ELV, and telecommunication discipline delivery of projects/packages to required standards and quality.
• Coordinate with other Discipline Engineers, Client Representatives, Stakeholders, and Authorities as applicable.
• Coordinate with all parties concerning project requirements and timelines.
• Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met in all designs and project deliveries.
• Support the project submittals and No Objection Certificates (NOC) process to the relevant Authorities.
• Stay updated with relevant technical developments within the discipline.
• Understand the contract and scope of project deliverables.
• Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies.
• Provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to Seniors or Managers.
• Attend and contribute to team and project meetings as required.
• Contribute to the delivery of the Aviation Division strategy, including supporting the company's approach to sustainability.
• Ensure QMS and Project Lifecycle compliance across team and projects.
• Complete accurate timesheets by set deadlines.
• Provide feedback on all business development opportunities.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• BEng / BSc or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 12 to 15 years of experience (Aviation Experience Mandatory).
• PMI Certification.
• Registration with Sewa, Fewa, Dewa, ADDC.
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office, Aconex, etc.
• Experience with associated discipline software, especially AutoCAD, BIM/Revit, ETAB, Amtec.
