Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company to meet organizational strategy and goals.
• Monitors the uses and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and reports for reordering when necessary.
• Assists the Supervisor / Manager in maintaining inventory (stock levels of spare parts and consumables) used in plant equipment maintenance.
• Maintains equipment and power tools and devices related to electrical repair and maintenance and guiding others.
• Performs multiple, technical tasks with a need to occasionally upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions.
• Installs new control circuits, modifies existing instrument/electrical systems as requested, to include design, loads and implements new control logic.
• Performs other tasks and duties as allocated by a department Manager or Superior.
• Executes the preventive maintenance program as per schedules for plant equipment, machinery and related facilities.
• Ensures and adheres to safe work practices and procedures including, but not limited to, lockout/tag out and confined space rules and regulations
• Reads, understands and interprets drawings, blueprints, schematics and diagrams.
• Maintains QMS ISO, safety, health and environmental policies and procedures and uphold standards of maximum safety.
  
  

Experience and Education:

• Vocational Trade Certificate.
• Good command of English language.
• Valid UAE Driving license (manual vehicle) due to operational requirement
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the following types of industries:
• Discrete manufacturing industries
• Process industries

Breakdown & corrective maintenance

• Mechanical, hydraulic presses, pneumatic systems
• Rotary equipment
• Mixers & agitators
• Conveyor systems & feeders
• Assembly lines
• Packaging machines (Preferred)
• Filtration Systems ,Scrubbers, ventilation systems (Preferred)
• Vibratory system (Preferred)
• Plant room equipment (Preferred)
• Process line equipment’s such as heat exchangers, boilers, storage tanks, furnaces, heaters etc. (Preferred)
• Control Panels, MDB, SMDB,FDB etc.( Preferred)
• UPS systems, AVR, Battery Chargers etc.(Preferred)
  
  

General electrical installations & wirings

• Cable laying ,glanding & terminations
• Control panel & DB wiring
• Lighting fixtures, Switches, sockets etc. installation and replacements.
  
  

Technical documentation knowledge

• Reading & understanding of technical (electrical, mechanical, P&ID, etc.) schematics.
• Permits to work
  
  

Instrument skills

• Multi-meters & Clamp meters
• Insulation testers (Preferred)
• Oscilloscope (Preferred)
• Process calibrators (Preferred)
• Tachometers (Preferred)
  
  

Power tools usage skills

• Drill machines, jig-saws, grinders, etc.
  
  

Computer skills

• Windows OS
• MS Office
