Applicants must go through an interview process that includes an initial online assessment followed by a virtual interview, which will include a short planned lesson demonstration.
Please note, due to UAE laws, applicants for early years and elementary roles must be female.
Location Overview
Opportunities exist across the UAE in Abu Dhabi predominantly; however, opportunities may also exist in the more Northern Emirates (Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah for example). The UAE is a hugely welcoming country and offers something for everyone, from big city lights to coastal gems. You will have an opportunity to highlight a certain location of favour but in a project of this size, some flexibility may be required.
Requirements
A degree related to the subject you teachApplicants for KG and Primary should have a formal teaching qualification (B'Ed, PGCE, US Certification, etc)Additional Masters degree are welcomed but not essential2 years recent full-time teaching experience in a classroom teaching in the medium of English (Your years of experience are calculated from the dates on your degree, NOT transcripts)Strong behavioural management skillsPrevious experience of students where English is not their first language is highly desirableCulturally sensitiveExcellent skills in communication, flexibility and adaptabilityPrevious international experience is desirable but not essential
Package
Tax-free salary of 16-21,000 AED per month based on qualifications and location of offer. Please note accommodation allowance is incorporated in to this salaryFlights at start and end of contract for applicant (Benefit may/may not extend to dependents; please discuss with your Teachanywhere consultant)Health insurance (UAE) for applicant (Benefit may/may not extend to dependents; please discuss with your Teachanywhere consultant)
