Job Title: Employee Relations Specialist

Reports to: HR Manager



  • Ensure all HR practices and procedures comply with local labor laws, industry standards, and company policies.

- Assist in audits, compliance checks, and the implementation of new regulatory changes affecting HR operations.

- Keep updated with employment laws and regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant.

- Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrolment, changes, and terminations.

- Coordinate with benefits vendors and respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, health insurance, and retirement plans.

- Liaise with the payroll team to ensure employee data, salary adjustments, bonuses, and deductions are accurately reflected.

- Assist in resolving payroll-related issues or discrepancies that may arise.

- Ensure policies are properly communicated to employees and embedded in HR systems.

- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with other departments such as IT, Finance, and Operations.

- Regularly evaluate HR operations for potential improvements or automation opportunities.

- Stay informed of HR industry best practices and trends, implementing them where applicable to optimize HR functions.

- Solid understanding of HR functions, including recruitment, benefits, payroll, compliance, and employee relations.

- Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.

- Ability to analyze and interpret HR data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to HR leadership.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with employees, HR teams, and management.

- Ability to explain complex HR processes or policies in a simple and clear manner.

- Ability to handle multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines simultaneously, prioritizing where necessary to meet timelines.

- Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment.

- Perform any task or work assigned by the Department Manager.
