Join Us as an Engineer 2 – Ammunitions Department
Be part of Halcon’s innovation in ammunition systems. As an Engineer 2, you’ll help design, test, and deliver high-performance products that meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Accountabilities
Participate in the design and development of ammunition products, including projectiles, warheads, fuzes, and related components, ensuring they meet performance and safety standards.
Conduct feasibility studies and detailed technical evaluations to assess reliability, functionality, and risk factors for various ammunition systems. Collaborate with engineering and testing teams to prototype, test, and validate new designs, ensuring they meet design intent and compliance requirements. Provide hands-on technical support to manufacturing teams, troubleshoot issues on the production floor, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Ensure all work aligns with applicable standards, regulations, and internal safety protocols across the development and production stages.
Develop and maintain accurate design documentation, test procedures, and technical reports to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing across teams.
Assist in assessing and qualifying suppliers, materials, and components for integration into ammunition systems.
Engage in initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce cost, and improve overall system performance using structured problem-solving techniques.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in ammunition engineering through continuous learning and industry engagement.

- 5+ years of experience in ammunition design, development, or production
- Strong knowledge of ammunition materials, systems, and testing methodologies
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, LS-DYNA)
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work in high-pressure environments
