ENGINEER - CRANE MECHANICAL

Job Description

• To supervise the workshop facilities and staff to ensure smooth operations of the workshop.
• To maintain plant and equipment in accordance with DP World standards thus avoiding wastage in time and resources.
• To direct and supervise the technical staff in day to day activities to ensure departmental goals and objectives are attained.
• To implement and maintain safety standards laid down by DP World thereby creating a safe and healthy work environment.
• To reduce expense in maintenance of machines, through regular inspections and quick repair.
• To direct the workshop staff during various maintenance operations and repair works of equipment’s ranging from easily maintainable items such as trailers and road vehicles, to the technically complex items such as container cranes for effective customer service delivery.
• To ensure equipment sent for repair is inspected after the repair works to ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standards of DP World.
