Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and analyzing structures for various building projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with local regulations.

• Lead structural design projects for a diverse range of buildings and structures in Dubai and the UAE
• Perform complex structural analysis and design, utilizing advanced engineering principles and software
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues and ensure project success
• Develop innovative and cost-effective structural solutions that meet client requirements and local building codes
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members
• Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications
• Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and building codes
• Contribute to business development efforts by participating in client meetings and proposal preparations
• Ensure all projects meet quality standards, deadlines, and budget constraints

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline; master's degree preferred
• Professional engineering license or certification (e.g., PE or equivalent)

Additional Information

• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building design and analysis
• Extensive knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as Etabs, Autodesk Robot, SAFE, StaadPro
• Proven track record of working on large and complex projects
• Experience with sustainable design practices and green building standards
• Experience with parametric modeling and computational design
