We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Engineering Coordinator to join our team So/ Uptown Dubai. As an Engineering Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Engineering department's daily operations, ensuring smooth communication, and maintaining efficient administrative processes.

Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Engineering Coordinator to join our team So/ Uptown Dubai. As an Engineering Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Engineering department's daily operations, ensuring smooth communication, and maintaining efficient administrative processes.
- Assist in creating purchase orders and ordering materials for the Engineering department
- Manage and monitor task management systems for engineering-related work orders
- Schedule work with third-party contractors and oversee regular maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with the Director of Engineering to maintain life safety and health-related documents
- Process and track invoices for purchased items, contract labor, and service calls
- Coordinate payroll processing and post schedules for the Engineering team
- Participate actively in energy conservation programs and initiatives
- Review guest and meeting planner feedback to identify and address issues promptly
- Execute additional administrative tasks as assigned by the Director of Engineering
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies related to engineering operations
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and task management systems
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting required; luxury hotel experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy in documentation and record-keeping
- Basic understanding of purchasing, inventory management, and payroll processing
- Familiarity with engineering department operations and maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of life safety and health-related documentation requirements
- Understanding of energy conservation principles and practices
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Valid work authorization for the United Arab Emirates
