Job Purpose

Join our Engine Maintenance Centre, a cutting-edge maintenance facility, where we deliver exceptional Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services for the engines of Emirates’ fleets.

A an Engineering Repairs Coordinator at EEMC, you will plan, monitor and administer progress of aftermarket processes supporting efficient management of repair/ overhaul/modification of components and engine/APU at the repair service providers, at optimal cost and within agreed repair turnaround time (RTAT).

In This Role, You Will

  • Ensure effective stakeholder communication as part of the management of processes and in enabling clear communication for better end-to-end planning and control across the process chain.
  • Maintain close coordination with all relevant stakeholders including but not limited to Material Planning, Overhaul workshops, Fleet Technical Management etc. to support Material Service Level KPI.
  • Coordinate with repair service providers/stakeholders to ensure that repairs processes are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Emirates Engine Maintenance Centre (EEMC) Component Repair

  • Ensure the repair work called out on the Repair Order (RO) is in accordance with the engine manual and liaise with the Production Inspector to correct any discrepancies noted.
  • Ensure that all the Service Bulletin (SB) and Airworthiness Directive (AD) are called out on the Repair Order (RO) as per engine Workscope.
  • Ensure outgoing RO's have all the relevant documents attached before handing over the shipment for processing.
  • Co-ordinate with internal and external stake holders for any queries raised against a repair call out from the vendor and provide revised RO's as required.
  • Extract and evaluate all sets of data relating to In-House Capability or Alternate Repair & Supply. Liaise with relevant stakeholders for the compilation of the information and analysis to assist in the decision making process.
  • Maintain Vendor and Part Level RO performance data to allow for vendor management activities to take place.

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Experience of 1+ years in Engineering / Materials & Stores
  • Technical Degree or 12 years of schooling or equivalent
  • Experience in Airline Engineering / Supply Chain and MRO Procurement Function
  • 3+ years In Airline Supply Chain / Procurement Function would be a plus.

Knowledge And Skills

  • Industry experience in supply chain management, Warehouse and Logistics, Repairs Management, Material Planning/Support & Inventory Control, Technical Purchasing or any other support services. Candidates with higher Technical education, with less experience may be considered.
  • Preference will be given to personal with experience in Supervisory role in Engineering Repairs Management in an airline / third party maintenance base or any other large Engineering Organisation.
  • However consideration will also be given to candidates with good educational background with experience in above functions from other fields involving high value, technically complex products.
  • Other languages besides English: If applicable, note if these are only in a specific department.
