Engineering Supervisor - LXR Eastern Mangroves Abu Dhabi (Pre-Opening)

As an Engineering Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in maintaining the hotel’s infrastructure and supporting the team that keeps our operations running seamlessly.

What will I be doing?

As Engineering Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Engineering team, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs for guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and equipment.
• Monitor and respond to maintenance requests promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to guests and operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of hotel systems, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and safety equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Support the Chief Engineer/Assistant Chief Engineer in planning projects, budgets, and technical improvements.
• Train, coach, and mentor team members to develop their technical skills and service mindset.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and inventory controls.
• Assist in emergency situations such as power failures, fire alarms, or water leaks to ensure guest safety and operational continuity.
• Perform additional tasks as required to support smooth hotel operations.

• Previous experience in a supervisory or senior engineering/maintenance role, preferably within luxury hospitality.
• Strong technical knowledge across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with other departments.
