Entity Finance Manager Global Travel Retail

You will support the Entity Finance Lead in overseeing all aspects of financial and tax accounting, reporting, and planning for the Entity. You will ensure that entity transactions comply with IFRS, local statutory requirements, and tax regulations. Additionally, you will support functions related to Credit, Treasury, Risk Management, the Transfer Pricing framework, entity planning, analysis and reporting, as well as the development and maintenance of entity policies and procedures.

Position

The Entity Finance Manager GTR will

  • Responsible for the new JTI GTR entity in Dubai, first as service entity from Q2'25 until transitioning to an LRD entity in Q2'26. Will support the Finance project lead for the LRD creation, working with all stakeholders ato ensure the project goes smoothly and on time. Will then work with Global Tax and JTI SA business model team to assess if more of the transactions that flow through the other entities GTR sells through should transfer to the JTI GTR in UAE.
  • Support the Entity Finance Lead in all accounting activities, including Balance Sheet and P&L preparation. Manages the full month-end closing and periodic valuation processes (e.g., product cost, depreciation, accruals, provisions, tax items). Handles internal reporting (e.g., quarterly IFRS package) and reconciliations between statutory, management, and tax reporting. Oversee billing, credit management, credit insurance, and coordination with Supply Chain for smooth operations.
  • Support Entity Finance Lead in reviewing intercompany and transfer pricing, Intercompany flows and Transfer Pricing (TP) framework transfer prices for FGs, I/C agreements and I/C cross-charges, transfer pricing (TP) documentation files.
  • Ensure a smooth and effective external and internal audit process by providing accurate and relevant financial information to auditors in a timely manner. Support the development of processes and local policies and procedures within your area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with internal controls and global JTI standards. Prepare audit documentation and analysis to facilitate efficient audits, and collaborate closely with both external and internal auditors throughout the audit process.
  • Manage General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable, including journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, vendor invoicing, payments, credit management, and intercompany reconciliations. Support ad-hoc performance-related tasks (e.g., HQ, EXCOM, BD), such as system cutovers and inventory loading, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Undertake additional projects as agreed with the line manager, based on skills and development needs.

Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
  • Financial qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, etc.) is an advantage
  • Preferably 2-4 years’ experience in an international company and knowledge of IFRS
  • Fluency in the English language, both written and verbal
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and SAP
