Job Summary:

The Manager - Environmental, Health, and Safety will provide leadership, strategic governance, and oversight on environment, health, and safety (EHS) issues. This role includes directing sustainability initiatives, overseeing emergency and disaster preparedness, and initiating business continuity management systems. The objective is to guide, reduce risks, and ensure compliance with applicable national and international legal and regulatory requirements, as well as certification and accreditation standards for the Group.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction and oversight for EHS programs and initiatives. Ensure alignment with corporate goals and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement strategies to advance sustainability initiatives within the organization.
• Oversee the creation and execution of emergency response and disaster preparedness plans.
• Initiate and manage business continuity management systems to mitigate risks and ensure organizational resilience.
• Ensure compliance with national and international legal and regulatory requirements. Develop strategies, policies, and procedures to minimize risks and ensure the safety of employees.
• Lead, develop, and manage the EHS and sustainability teams to achieve organizational objectives and maintain high standards of performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Registered with Quorate program as OSH Practitioner with Grade A and ISO certification 14001, 45001, and 22301 as lead Auditor.
