Your Role – Learning, Leading, and Making an Impact

As an EHS Professional, you will contribute to creating a safe, compliant, and health-conscious work environment across Siemens’ operations and project sites. You will work closely with experienced mentors and cross-functional teams to help implement and sustain EHS practices aligned with both local regulations and Siemens global standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of Siemens’ EHS Management System and ensure alignment with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in and help lead safety campaigns, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
• Monitor EHS performance indicators and support the reporting of key safety data.
• Conduct site inspections, assist with audits, and support the investigation of safety incidents.
• Engage with government authorities to ensure regulatory compliance and handle required documentation or reporting.
• Assist in the planning and execution of employee wellness and occupational health programs.
• Contribute to the delivery of safety training sessions and internal communication initiatives.
• Identify areas for improvement and suggest innovative ideas to enhance EHS practices.
• Work with internal teams and contractors to build a strong safety culture across all levels.
• Prepare and manage emergency response plans including procedures, training first aid responders, emergency team members, and conducting evacuation drills.
• Maintain accurate records of all safety-related activities, including incident reports, risk assessments, safety observations, and training documentation.
• Promote safety culture throughout the organization by raising awareness, providing resources, and fostering open communication about safety concerns and best practices.
• Manage the complete employee assistance program including monitoring utilization reports.
• Lead training sessions for various Health, Safety & Environmental digital tools and platforms.
• Oversee personal protective equipment procurement, stock management, and approval process with suppliers.
  
  

Your Qualifications And Skills

• A bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience in EHS, internships, or academic projects is a plus, but not mandatory for junior applicants.
• EHS certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are highly valued—or a willingness to complete such certifications as part of your development.
• Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
• Familiarity with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); exposure to EHS software is a plus.
• A collaborative, respectful attitude and commitment to upholding safety and ethical standards.
