Your Role – Learning, Leading, and Making an Impact

As an EHS Professional, you will contribute to creating a safe, compliant, and health-conscious work environment across Siemens’ operations and project sites. You will work closely with experienced mentors and cross-functional teams to help implement and sustain EHS practices aligned with both local regulations and Siemens global standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the BU EHS manager in global and local BU EHS requirements and programs
• Support the BU EHS manager in annual EHS internal and external Audits
• Liaise with the BU project teams for project activity and support in EHS documentation
• Support the projects in creating a risk assessment and method statement for the projects
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure that are communicated with project team.
• Conduct a regular safety induction and TBT to project team and ensure that all personnel are aware of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ensure the EHS plan, Risk assessment, method statements and safety procedures are implemented in the projects.
• Assist the BU EHS manager in conducting EHS training
• Maintain records of safety inspections, TBT, and Nearmiss and ensure compliance with Siemens safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for BU KPIs, inspection incidents, and training.
• Support the BU EHS manager in investigating accidents and near misses, document findings, and recommend corrective actions to pre-vent future incidents.
• Monitor compliance with safety standards and regulations set by the Dubai Municipality Code of Construction and ADPHC
• Collaborate with project managers and project teams to address safety concerns and implement safety measures.
• Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with external organizations e.g. governmental bodies, customers, etc.
  
  

Your Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Science, Engineering/Electrical or Mechanical
• NEBOSH IGC certification in Occupational health and safety is desirable
• Ability to travel between sites/working locations across UAE.
• Valid UAE driving License.
• Good communication skills
• Good report-writing skill
• Presentation creation skills
