Key Competencies -

Manage the bulk inspections (platform / warehouse audit) of apparel and non-apparel merchandise.

Apt knowledge of garment construction, sewing, finishing, packaging.

Apt knowledge of GCC regulatory norms in non-apparel merchandise – packaging, labelling, certification, G-Mark etc.

Conduct packaging audits (shipping package)

Collaborate with CO QA team for ensuring the audit efficacy.

Be able audit the merchandise efficiently & effectively and communicate with the concerned in the concept office.

Manage the relationships with the internal customers.

Generate periodic reports of key audit aspects.

Good communication.

Key Relationships:
o Vendors

o Buying Dept.

o Tech Dept.

o Logistics, DC team

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Relevant experience of 5 – 7 years in Apparel Quality Control.

o Minimum 2 – 3 years in merchandise audits in an inspection agency / buying house / retail brand.

Knowledge on cross-functional team accountabilities including Buying, QA, Sourcing, Merchandising, DC.

Good communication, analytical, interpersonal and influencing skills.

Ability to work both independently and with others in a team environment.

Demonstrated ability to take initiative & good time management skills.

Detailed oriented, with accuracy and precision.

Works with a high sense of urgency & integrity & is motivated by new challenges

Excellent word processing and strong communication in English (verbal & written)
