Job Description & Summary

PwC Middle East is one of the fastest-growing firms in the global PwC network. To support our ambitious regional growth and brand priorities, we’re expanding our PR & Communications team and looking for a talented and strategic Communications Manager to join us in the UAE.

We’re looking for a confident, dynamic, and experienced communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments and brings a strong mix of media relations, content development, and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the professional services sector, a strong journalist network in the region, and the ability to craft compelling, insight-driven communications that elevate PwC’s reputation.

  • Drive innovative, proactive, and impactful media relations strategies for key business areas, strengthening our position as the leading professional services firm in the region.
  • Develop and deliver integrated communications campaigns built on thought leadership, market developments, and strategic firm priorities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior spokespeople, providing media coaching, content support, and counsel on reputation-enhancing opportunities.
  • Collaborate with external PR agencies and internal teams (including marketing, digital, and leadership teams) to ensure alignment and execution of campaigns.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier media across business, economics, tech, sustainability, and government.
  • Respond swiftly and strategically to media enquiries, managing reactive press as part of an active regional press office.
  • Identify and manage content opportunities, from op-eds and press releases to social-first narratives and regional storylines.
  • Monitor media coverage, analyse performance, and support in reporting outcomes and insights for leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Key skills, qualifications & experience

What we’re looking for

  • At least 4–6 years of experience in a senior communications/media relations role, preferably within a business-to-business or professional services environment (in-house or agency).
  • Strong understanding of the Middle East media landscape and regional nuances.
  • Proven experience in managing high-impact campaigns and navigating complex or sensitive topics.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English and Arabic
  • A strong journalist network and track record of securing top-tier media coverage.
  • Experience in using digital and social platforms as part of media strategies.
  • Ability to translate complex ideas and data into compelling, accessible content.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills, and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders. Attributes that will help you succeed
